Dissolving Red Laundry Sacks | Fully Soluble | 100 per Case

Fully dissolvable red laundry sacks let your staff bag up soiled and infected linen where it is used and send the whole sack straight into the washing machine. Nobody has to open it, sort it, or touch what is inside.

How they work

The sack is made from a hot water soluble film. Soiled items go in at the point of use, the sack is sealed, and it travels to the laundry as a closed unit. It is then placed into the drum still sealed.

As the wash cycle heats up, the film breaks down and dissolves completely, releasing the laundry into the water so it washes normally. There is no bag to pull out afterwards and nothing to put in the bin – the film simply washes away with the cycle.

Because the sack is never opened, there is no contact with soiled laundry from the moment it is bagged to the moment it is washed. That takes out the handling step where cross-contamination, odour and spillage usually happen.

Why red

Red is the recognised colour code for infected and soiled linen, so a red sack tells everyone down the line what it holds without anyone needing to open or check it.

Storage and use

Load the sack, seal it, and keep it dry until it goes into the machine. Store in a dry place away from direct heat or damp.
